Ok, I lied.

Sun Aug 9, 2009, 7:09 PM
A flurry of activity? Who the eff was I kidding?

My youngest son is now eight months old. He's crawling, and already trying to stand up. Needless to say, 80% of my time is spent trying to keep his head from bouncing off of furniture, the floor, his brother, etc. A couple of weeks ago he actually grabbed hold of my husband's eyeball (whilst trying to grab a fistful of his long, luxurious hair) and sliced a chunk right out of it. And that is no exaggeration, my friends. Needless to say, my husband now has a shaved head again and he's much quicker when it comes to dodging baby fingers.

My eldest son is four. He thinks he's eighteen. He calls me by my name rather than calling me mom, and is constantly telling really bad jokes. He's also obsessed with the difference between boys and girls and is constantly asking people if they have a penis or a 'gina. It's quite something to behold.

Maybe one of these days I'll be able to get out more. By that time my photography partner will have delivered her own baby and I'll have to wait even longer for her to be able to leave the house. Haha.

Hey! I'm your partner in everything dammit! ;p

And I am very experienced at doing things with not one but three children hanging from me. Which is exactly what will be going on with my little monster.

So hopefully the wait won't be too long. I expect the first thing she's going to learn is how to use the camera after all =p

I'm so disappointed that I haven't got to use that camera. I was thinking of sitting in the back yard and just waiting for something photo worthy to come along.

I think I'd be out there all day.

Oh well. At least you still have me for crappy writing!

Hey, I'll put on my fairy costume and come mow your lawn. You can take pictures of that. :p

And we will be strapping our babies on when your wee one is big enough so we can go on a picture hike! :D
:iconvioletsun:
I am SO finding the stuff for that costume when the Halloween stuff starts coming out. ;p

You know I'll wear it too! Maybe we could dress Bud up with the weedeater and he could be the Weed Fairy.
:iconvioletsun:
Hahaha! That would be awesome!

I wish I were there to help out. Kids love Uncle Ross.

Everywhere I go I'm asked if the universities stifle writers. My opinion is that they don't stifle enough of them. There's many a best seller that could have been prevented by a good teacher. --Flannery O'Connor

Well stop being so far away damn it.
